The Rion Woodiest Family Foundation is dedicated to restoring stability and dignity to families and individuals in crisis. Through direct assistance — rental and utility support, food and clothing, safe refuge from domestic violence, mental health guidance, job placement, autism support, and educational scholarships — we meet immediate needs today while empowering the people we serve to break cycles of instability and build stronger tomorrows.

Rion T. Woodiest is an Army veteran and honorably discharged servicemember who has dedicated his post-military life to strengthening the community he calls home. After seeing firsthand the gaps in support for Tulsa families — from housing instability to limited access to mental health resources — Rion made it his mission to fill that void.
In March 2022, he founded the Rion Woodiest Family Foundation to meet Tulsans where they are, offering rental and utility assistance, a food pantry, resources for survivors of domestic violence, job placement support, autism services, and scholarship opportunities. His approach is rooted in the same values that guided his military service: discipline, service before self, and a commitment to leaving no one behind.
Since then, Rion has continued to lead the foundation with a simple belief — that a stronger Tulsa starts with taking care of its own.
